you’re glowing they said
Did you dance in the rainstorm again,
She smiles as if she knows it’s already been set to the tune of June,
You look smaller they whisper,
And she’s tired of explaining that’s the cost of surviving,
A sign of her past of being a wallflower has long since been torn down,
And she tried to stop her heartbeat to let the stars free, the burning is not ready to let go until the skies clear,
And shes marred by the figures that gave way to the middle ground,
And they told her to keep walking until home was nothing but a safe haven,
A peace that she’s longed for since she found a home
invisibility doesn’t seem like the super power it once did,
She’s mastering her wonder to attract the magnetic love of her curious soul
And I hope her touch of beauty never lets her forget the power of agapes kiss that’s been planted on her.
And even when shes in her golden hour its still okay to miss the breeze that pushed her towards a sunrise of growth.
